Sourdough

Fairbanks, Alaska. Not a destination many seek out unless you’re hunting for the Northern Lights or reindeer sausage. Being from New Jersey, the thought of working in Alaska never crossed my mind. Astonishingly, I received an email in the height of the pandemic informing me that I was staffed on a project in Fairbanks for 8 months and would be traveling there twice a month. 8 months later, I can say with certainty that I’ve experienced the full gambit of the quirks of Fairbanks. From -35 degree nights to 24 hours of sunlight, I’ve had the unique experience to document Fairbanks and beyond.
